What are the Best Acne Skin Care Products
and Treatments for You?

Although there are thousands of acne skin care products, procedures and therapies, the best acne treatment product is the one that works best for you. Everyone is different. Skin types are different. The type of acne is different. Because of so many product choices, curing acne can sometimes be very frustrating. The trial and error process of trying one product after another can be a very slow process.

One of the most important things you can do is try to learn as much about acne as you can. Try to focus on that type of acne that may be bothering you. For example, is it facial acne, body acne, acne scars or pregnancy acne, etc.? Many acne products and procedures have worked very successfully with a lot of different people. So, don’t loose sight of your objective… to clear your acne.

Basically, there are two types of acne products. There are oral medications and internal medications.

A popular oral medication is called Accutane. Although it has helped many people, it does have side effects. Users report dryness of lips, nose, eyes and skin. Apply Vaseline to the lips and nose to prevent cracking and nosebleeds. Use moisturizing drops or ointment on the eyes. If you wear contact, you’ll probably have to take them out. Apply moisturizers to your acne skin areas. The good news is that these dryness symptoms will disappear after you stop using Accutane.

Topical solutions can be used to treat the surface of your skin. There are a number of good facial cleaning acne products. These products help sooth your skin and improve its quality. Just be aware that many of these products tend to overly dry your skin. So, use milder acne skin care product when you first begin.

Two types of ingredients keep showing up repeatedly in the best acne treatments. These are benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. When reviewing acne products, look carefully at the label. Good acne care products will probably contain one of these ingredients.

However, be careful with benzoyl peroxide. Although you can purchase it at strengths up to 10%, most research shows a 2.5% solution produces superior results because it does not dry out your skin as much.

There is also another common factor in curing acne. Many who have suffered from acne report significant improvement in their skin condition by regularly using a good facial cleaning product. These topical solutions include Avon (O2 Cleanser), Cliniques (Acne Skin Care Range), Aveeno and Mary Kay Timewise 3 in one cleaner.

On the other hand, many acne users have reports significant improvement using internal acne products. For example, if you suffer from adult acne, teenage acne or facial redness acne, AcnEase may help. AcnEase is a unique acne treatment that cures the internal causes of acne. It is an easy to swallow coated tablet designed to treat both facial and body acne. The company reports it will not aggravate your skin and there are no restrictions on sun exposure. Clinical studies showed a 70% plus cure rate in their subjects. That is highly effective.

The good news is that you do not have to continue to suffer in your battle with acne. There are many very good acne skin products available. Your challenge is to find the best acne treatment for you.
