What Causes Acne?

Acne is often misunderstood. The causes of acne are frequently debated. However, the results of acne don’t change much. Acne causes emotional stress, physical hurt, low self-esteem and embarrassment for millions of people.

The skin is the largest organ in the human body. Therefore, it is the leading indicator of the body’s toxicity levels. When the toxicity is too high, the result is acne.

Our modern day diet and eating habits are part of the problem. When the liver cannot process toxic substances, the body excretes it through the skin. This is a built in protection mechanism of the body.

For example, when you eat junk food and drinks, you introduce high levels of toxins into your body. When the body fails to process them correctly, they are excreted through the skin. This then causes acne.

One way to help resolve this toxicity problem is to change your diet. Eat foods that contain more roughage. The bulk helps the digestive system. In turn, the body doesn’t excrete as much toxin and waste, which ends up on your skin.

Learn more about the food you take into your body. An educated choice in purchasing and eating high quality food, can get you out of the cycle of too much toxins and too much acne.

This certainly isn’t the only cause of acne. However, it is something you can immediately start working on.
