Pimples Vulgar Treatment Causes

Definition, Description
Acne vulgar (stintific: acne vulgaris) is a disorder that occurs in pilosebacee units (hair follicles) it occurs because the pores through which sebum is removed (oil) for maintenance of hair is blocked. Blocking this causes accumulation of sebum in which bacteria grow. Mild forms of this disease is manifested by red spots called pimples but severe forms exteriorization different form of follicular papules or comedones and inflammatory papules, pustules, or nodules with yellowish accumulation. Acne vulgar affects skin areas densely populated with sebacic follicles: these areas include the face, upper chest and the back.

Causes:
Acne is most common during adolescence, affecting more than 89% of teenagers and frequently continues into adulthood.
- The main cause is the growth of hormones in both sexes during puberty, which determines an increased production of sebum glands. The excess sebum leads to hiperkeratinizare. Sometimes the sebum mixes with dead cells to the area and block the pores leading to accumulation of sebum and the appearance of acne.
- It is assumed that there is a genetic predisposition to develop the disease, so because of a hereditary nature.
- The existence of bacteria in pores. Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) is the anaerobic bacteria that cause acne.
- The use of anabolic steroids.
- Any medicines containing lithium, barbiturates or androgens.
- Exposure to certain chemical compounds. Chloracneea is particularly linked to toxic exposure to dioxins, namely Chlorinated dioxins.
- Exposure to halogens. Halogen acne is linked to exposure to halogens (eg iodides, chlorides, bromides, fluorides).
- Use of amphetamines or other similar medicines.
- Several types of hormones seem to have a direct connection with acne: androgens testosterone, dihydrotestosterone (DHT), dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS), insulin growth factor 1 (IGF-I).

Myths according to which consumption of foods high in fat or chocolate would increase risk of acne are completely false. The causes are entirely internal.

In most cases, acne diminishes over time and tends to disappear, however, there is no way to predict how long it will take or how long it will disappear entirely.
In addition to scarring, the main effects are psychological disease, such as loss of self-confidence, depression or suicide.

Treatment:
There are several methods of treatment or combination of it depending on the answer given by the affected person, gender, etc.:

-- Hormonal treatment : For women some combination of estrogen / progestogen in contraceptive pills can result in acne improvement. (Eg Cyproterone, in combination with an estrogen (Diane 35) leads to reduced androgen levels.
- Retinoids: A daily dose of oral vitamin A derivative isotretinoin (marketed as Accutane, Amnesteem, Sotret, Claravis, Clarus) over a period of 4-6 months can cause long-term effects - or to reduce acne;
-- Sulphides - The oldest method - no soaps or lotions in pharmacies on sulfur;
-- Dermabraziunea - Abrasive action on the skin, requiring anesthesia and consists of layers of abrasive material removal by cell death (less effective if there are scars).
-- Phototherapy - Use of spectrum blue or red or various other combinations of lights of different colors;
--Laser Treatment - Destruction of hair follicles, sebaceous glands local burning, destruction of bacteria (have the adverse effect the appearance of spots)
